Monthly Miracles
During the pilot program's first year, living kidney donation at Northwell Health increased by 15% as compared to the previous year. An average of one additional transplant per month was performed, and this proven formula is poised to produce more. 60% of transplanted patients represent underserved communities, showcasing our drive toward ensuring equitable access to life-saving kidney transplants.
