Amy Collins

 Amy brings a background in healthcare, education, and clinical operations to her work in organ donation and transplantation. Her career has included roles as a certified surgical technologist, educator, healthcare operations leader, and organ donation coordinator, giving her a broad understanding of the healthcare teams and processes involved in transplantation.

Amy has worked closely with hospitals, clinical teams, donor families, and transplant centers to support the organ donation process. She has helped coordinate donor referrals and organ offers, supported clinical teams and families throughout the donation process, and worked to ensure that every potential opportunity for donation is given thoughtful consideration.

“Organ donation is meaningful to me because of the impact it can have on so many lives. I’ve had the opportunity to see the donation and transplant process from many different perspectives throughout my career, and I’m looking forward to now be able to use that experience to help connect donors and families with patients who are waiting for a transplant.”
