As a Living Donor Ambassador for Give to Live Health, Amanda Guerrero supports patients and families navigating the living kidney donation journey. Through education, outreach and personal connection, she helps individuals understand living donation while offering encouragement rooted in firsthand experience.

Amanda’s connection to living kidney donation is personal. In 2016, she donated a kidney to her father, an experience that changed her life and gave her an understanding of the hope, fear and uncertainty transplant families face. Since then, she has been passionate about sharing her story, raising awareness and helping others feel less alone.

“Becoming my father’s living kidney donor was one of the greatest privileges of my life. It showed me how powerful one person’s decision can be not only for the recipient, but for an entire family. If sharing my experience helps even one person feel more hopeful, informed or supported, then I know I am doing something meaningful.”

Amanda shares her experience through transplant related speaking engagements. As a bilingual advocate, she is passionate about expanding donation education within Hispanic and Spanish speaking communities. For Amanda, joining Give to Live Health brings together her journey and commitment to helping families discover the life changing possibilities of living kidney donation.
